If you would be forced to clean the parts in soap and warm water, it would be very time-consuming. Some cleaners also disinfect other items such as dentures, hearing aids, pacifiers, and toothbrushes.
- Set a budget for how much you can afford and are willing to pay for a CPAP cleaner. You also want to make sure the manufacturer offers a warranty on the product, which usually only covers manufacturing defects or errors, shipping damages or structural defects before it got to you. The warranty does not cover normal wear or issues that came up as a result of using the cleaner. Read through the terms and conditions of the warranty before buying so that you know what to expect in the event your cleaner stops working correctly.
